Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is one of the oldest & most traditional styles of yoga. It emphasizes slow, deliberate movements, controlled breathing, & proper posture alignment. Poses are typically held for several breaths allowing yogis time to refine their technique, build body awareness, & develop a deeper mind-body connection. Hatha Yoga is often recommended for beginners due to its gentle pace & accessible approach. Regular practice can improve flexibility, core strength, balance, stress management, & overall relaxation, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a calm, mindful form of exercise.

Mobility

A practice that promotes better movement & improved functional range of motion. It can include exercises & movements that strengthen & lengthen your body, allowing you to move freely & efficiently. It can include elements of a variety of fitness routines such as dynamic stretches, foam rolling, bodyweight exercises, & yoga.

Barre socks/barefoot is recommended

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is about relaxing & balancing your mind, body & spirit. It's a quiet yoga that focuses on noticing your breath, getting into a totally supported pose, & finding stillness. It uses lots of props- a bolster, two blocks, a strap, & numerous blankets.

*If "nidra" is in the title- think extra time for "yogic sleep"!

Sculpt

Sculpt- the best of everything KP has to offer: yoga, barre, & bootcamp. Start class off with a generous warm-up, bootcamp & barre style moves in sets of work, & an enjoyable cool down ending with savasana.

Barre socks/barefoot is recommended

 Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa Yoga, similar to Power, can be a flowing, dynamic yoga practice but focuses more on the connection of breathe to movement. Vinyasa helps to build strength, while reducing stress & increasing vitality.

*If Power is in the title- think a few more sun salutations, chaturangas, & class is taught a quicker pace.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice where students can expect specific passive poses held for an extended time, usually 5 to 10 minutes. Yin is more likely to improve overall flexibility & range of motion. It targets deep connective tissues including your fascia, ligaments, & joints.
