Hey, Kaitlyn here! So thrilled you've found us!


I've been thinking lately about how much goes on within these walls – so many amazing classes, such a wonderful community, & honestly, a whole lot of heart. I wanted to take some time in these posts to really dive into what makes KP Fitness special & what you can expect when you join us on your yoga/fitness journey.


We offer more than just weekly classes; we provide a space for connection, growth, & yes, even some sweat! I'm excited to share more detailed looks at specific classes, events/workshops, & even a little behind-the-scenes of how we do things here. I know that can be helpful when trying something new.


Why Even Bother With Classes?

Let's talk about why we're all here – the incredible benefits of yoga & fitness classes!


When it comes to yoga- it's not about being flexible (if I had a dollar for every time I heard someone say 'Oh I can't do yoga, I'm not flexible'). Yoga can help with stress reduction, improve focus, boost your mood, & even enhance your physical strength. I'll be exploring these benefits in future posts & sharing how our classes are designed to help you experience them firsthand.


Trying a new fitness class can be terrifying. The first time I ever took a Barre class, I told no one. I wanted to try something completely new with none of my friends there. Jokes on me- that class lead to the love/hate relationship we all have with barre- burn so good, if you will. Now over 6 years later & numerous trainings, I help others get through that same feeling. And the same things can be said about the other styles of fitness we offer- bootcamp (HIIT & strength training)- physical fitness has so many benefits, but to name just a few: it can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases, improve mood & energy levels, all while enhancing physical function. So take the risk- try something new! We doubt you'll regret it! ;)


What to Expect at the Studio

Walking into a new studio can be intimidating, I get it! You might be wondering what to wear, if you'll be able to keep up, essentially trying not to make a fool of yourself. My goal is to make you feel at home from the moment you step through the door. You can expect a welcoming atmosphere, instructors who are passionate & supportive, plus a community that cheers you on, quite literally, every step of the way. Over time, I'll tackle some frequently asked questions about studio etiquette, different class styles & what you need for each, & anything random that comes up.
